Academy of Stardom

This week we’re dancing into the new adult series the Academy of Stardom by Bea Paige! Fair warning- it’s a reverse harem series, there‘s more than one love interest.

Bea Paige is in the UK, so the story is set in the UK, and I’m happy to say I’ve learned a couple British sayings after finishing up the series.

This series kept me on my toes until the very end. I thought I knew several times how the story was going to end up, and then it would twist and go in a completely different direction. I devoured the four books in about three day.

Pen is such a strong main character and she‘s definitely not a damsel in distress that needs her men to save her. The bond between Pen and the Breakers is amazing, but Paige also focuses on more than just Pen’s romantic relationship with the four boys, you also saw the friendship bond between Pen, Clancy, and Grim, and the family bond between Pen and her sister Lena, get to grow throughout the series too. There’s also got plenty of action and mystery, especially in book four.

Throughout the series your also introduced to this whole world that Paige has built. There’s lots of characters mentioned that will or already have their own book or series, and those books have already been added to my TBR list!
